When you have a product that so many people associate with experiences and essentially the entire beer culture, things go smoothly. Then even a company brochure can be exciting, although that term reeks of terrible boredom. But beer trays go hand in hand with beer. This exclusive set of 28 pieces carries the story of Plzeňský Prazdroj, its successes, and individual brands. Will it become an unattainable dream for tray collectors?
Zdeněk Kovář, Press Spokesperson for Plzeňský Prazdroj
Plzeňský Prazdroj was founded in 1842 when brewer Groll brewed the first batch of his beer, creating Pilsener-type beer. This type of light bottom-fermented beer, known as Pilsener or Pils, is now the best-selling beer globally. And the Pilsner twelve is a term in itself. Plzeňský Prazdroj's brands also include Plzeňský Gambrinus, Radegast from Nošovice, and Velkopopovický Kozel, as well as the most widespread non-alcoholic beer in the Czech Republic, Birell, Kingswood and Frisco ciders, and more. A total of 12 brands. Plzeňský Prazdroj is the largest beer producer in the Czech Republic and also its largest exporter. The brewery exports beer to more than 50 countries worldwide. The current owner of Prazdroj is the Japanese brewery group Asahi.
